The name is fairly self-explanatory. Remote Access will usually be requested by a Customer Care agent to help you with a problem you might've contacted them about.
By enabling Remote Access you're allowing them to remotely connect to your Vera Controller, whereby they'll have access to its interface as well as the back-end side of it, necessary for troubleshooting purposes.
Follow the steps below to enable Remote Access:
1. Once connected to your controller's interface, go to Settings on the left-hand-side menu, and then to Customer Care.
2. On the subsequent page, go to the bottom, where you should find the green Enable button. Intuitively enough, clicking on it will enable Remote Access.
When finished, the button should change to Disable, signalling the fact that Remote Access is now active, and clicking on the button again will disable it once more.
Additionally, a long string of characters will show up as well (see the image below), which is going to be requested by the Tech Support agent.
