Q: How do you setup a static IP address for a Vera Controller?

To set up a static IP for your Vera Controller, you will need to go to Settings > Net & Wi-Fi and select Manually configure (advanced). Next, select Static IP from the drop-down box and put the IP that you want Vera to have on your network, the subnet mask (e.g. 255.255.255.0), the Gateway, which is the IP of your Router (e.g. 192.168.1.1),  and the DNS, which should be the same as the Gateway.
 

Note: You should leave the options in the LAN section to the default value unless you are using another Vera as the main router.
